What is the difference between a service and a session?

A service is the product rendered to the student(s).  Example services could include, but are not limited to: math fact practice, math skills training, writing support, reading strategies in context support.  All services must be approved prior to being provided to students.  Service approval should be submitted under your profile on the Indiana Learns website.

A session is a scheduled time between service provider and student(s) to receive an approved service (tutoring, practice, etc).
